Speed pitching is inspired by speed dating: each participant has 1 to 5 minutes to convince someone of the relevance of his or her project. At the end of each round, participants change tables to meet new interlocutors, thus multiplying opportunities for exchange. This format encourages networking and the rapid evaluation of ideas, while developing communication skills and boosting self-confidence.

Speed pitching can be used in a variety of training courses and events.
